Ogun Majority Leader congratulates new Akarigbo

The Majority Leader of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Honourable Yinka Mafe, has congratulated the new Akarigbo of Remoland, Prince Adewale Ajayi, following his confirmation by the state government last week, saying the new traditional ruler is eminently qualified to lead the good people of Remoland.
In a statement issued at the weekend by his media office, Mafe, who is the member representing Sagamu State constituency 1 in the state assembly,  described the new monarch as the undisputed choice of the good people of Sagamu and Remoland. He urged him to use his new position to foster unity and peace on the people.
“Given your impressive educational and professional records, we are optimistic that your reign will usher in a new era of progressive development in Remoland. On behalf the good people of Remoland, I congratulate you on your emergence. The rancour free process that produced you as the new Akarigbo is a sign of the good things to come,” Mafe said.
The Majority Leader commended the Governor Ibikunle Amosun-led administration in the state for ensuring a free, fair and credible selection process and called on other Princes of the various ruling houses in the town, as well as all citizens of Remoland, to give their total support to the new monarch.
The newly elected Akarigbo is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, a chartered accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). The 54-year, old monarch attended the University of Ibadan and the University of Calabar, among other prestigious institutions within and outside the country.
