Innoss’B – Chantier


 A well-known musician in the Congolese music scene, Innoss'B has made a big impact on a lot of different music genres, like Afrobeats, Ndombolo, Hip Hop, R&B, Rumba, and Afropop. He was born on May 5, 1997, as Innocent Didace Balume in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is well-known for his diverse skill set as a rapper, singer, dancer, and songwriter. One of the singles from his most recent album, "Calcul," "Chantier," marks his comeback to the music scene.


The English word "Chantier," which means "Construction Site," immediately draws in listeners with its throbbing rhythm and upbeat percussion. A compelling groove introduces the song, setting the stage for an exciting musical adventure ahead.

Governor’s aides join Adeyeye’s campaign

Some loyalists of Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose have moved to the camp of a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant, Prince Dayo Adeyeye. Among those who dumped the governor are: former Commissioner for Public Utilities, Mr. Deji Adesua; former factional House of Assembly Speaker, Dele Olugbemi; and a Special Assistant, Alhaji Musa Kanga. They were among thousands of supporters, who welcomed Adeyeye yesterday to his campaign office on Ikere Road, and staged a road show for him. Kanga led scores of fellow Hausa PDP members in the state, pledging their loyalty and support for Adeyeye’s governorship ambition. Einstein’s light-bending by single far-off star detected

For the first time, astronomers have seen a star outside of the solar system bend the light from another star. The measurement, reported June 7 in Austin, Texas, at a meeting of the American Astronomical Society, vindicates both Einstein’s most famous theory and what goes on in the inner lives of stellar corpses. Astronomers using the Hubble Space Telescope watched as a white dwarf passed in front of a more distant star. That star seemed to move in a small loop, its apparent position deflected by the white dwarf’s gravity. Atlas Microfinance bank to sue Umana over N14m campaign loans

Atlas Microfinance Bank Limited has threatened to sue the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in 2015 election in Akwa Ibom State, Obong Umana Umana, over alleged N14m debt. The bank said this through its agent De-Bongos International Ltd both operating in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The head coach of the Nigeria female U20 team, Christopher Danjuma, has said he has 70 per cent knowledge of how the Falconets ’ opponent, Tanzania, will play the African qualifier for France 2018 on Saturday. Nwoye: Abuja APC chieftains plot election annulment

There is a plot in the All Progressives Congress (APC) to annul the Anambra State governorship primary election which House of Representatives member Tony Nwoye won. It was learnt that some influential members of the party in Abuja, known as “Abuja Forces”, were unhappy that Nwoye secured the ticket. Flood displaces over 10,000 in Kogi

Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello said yesterday over 10,000 people had been displaced by flood. He spoke when he visited the affected areas, including Sarkin Numa and Ganaja villages. The governor also visited Internally Displaced Persons’ (IDPs’) camps. He said anytime it rained heavily, River Niger and Benue overflowed their banks and the effect was felt more by the indigenes. Bello said communities in Ibaji, Ajaokuta, IgalaMela/Odolu, Bassa, Koton-Karfi and Lokoja were also affected. He urged the Federal Government to assist the state. I want a divorce, says housewife

A housewife, Asmau Abdullahi, has pleaded with a Minna Sharia Court to dissolve her marriage because of constant beating and insult from  her husband. Asmau said her husband, Ibrahim Abdullahi, was fond of assaulting her. “My husband insults me a lot and calls me names like `mad woman’, `foolish woman’ and things like that. “He always beats me and forces me to fetch water from the well late at night. “My man does not show me love. This is why I want an end to this marriage,” she added. Ibrahim, however, denied his wife’s allegations, saying he was a good husband. He said he still loved his wife and did not want divorce. The judge, Malam Ahmed Bima, advised the couple to give peace a chance and settle their differences, as marriage required patience and understanding. He adjourned the case till September 11, to allow parties settle their differences.

Kanu: Southeast governors worried over shooting

Governors of the Southeast states yesterday expressed worry over Sunday’s shooting near the residence of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu in Umuahia. The governors expressed regret that the incident came at a time they were making concerted efforts to broker peace between federal authorities and the Biafra agitators. Director of Information of the Southeast Governors’ Forum Secretariat, Mike Udah, said the incident had punctured the peace moves initiated by the governors. “The Southeast governors are worried that the relationship between the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the government is degenerating into this kind of ugly situation. “They did not want this kind of situation to occur and that was why they invited the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, with Prof. Ben Nwabueze to their meeting in Enugu.
