Innoss’B – Chantier


 A well-known musician in the Congolese music scene, Innoss'B has made a big impact on a lot of different music genres, like Afrobeats, Ndombolo, Hip Hop, R&B, Rumba, and Afropop. He was born on May 5, 1997, as Innocent Didace Balume in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is well-known for his diverse skill set as a rapper, singer, dancer, and songwriter. One of the singles from his most recent album, "Calcul," "Chantier," marks his comeback to the music scene.


The English word "Chantier," which means "Construction Site," immediately draws in listeners with its throbbing rhythm and upbeat percussion. A compelling groove introduces the song, setting the stage for an exciting musical adventure ahead.

Obaseki versus Ize-Iyamu: Appeal Court gives verdict today

The Court of Appeal sitting in Benin City will today deliver its judgment on the appeal filed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu against the judgment of the lower tribunal. Governor Godwin Obaseki and the All Progressive Congress (APC) filed a cross appeal over a ruling of the tribunal refusing to strike out some paragraphs in the petition and to invalidate the order by the tribunal for the inconclusive recount of ballot papers used during the election. Pastor Ize-Iyamu filed 41 grounds of appeal against the tribunal judgment while Obaseki filed four grounds of cross appeal. The three-man tribunal panel led by Justice Ahmed Badamasi upheld the election of Obaseki by throwing out the petition of Pastor Ize-Iyamu. Court adjourns hearing on EFCC’s bid to seize Diezani’s houses

The Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday adjourned till September 22 hearing of an application for final forfeiture of 58 houses allegedly belonging to a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke. She allegedly bought the houses between 2011 and 2013 for $21,982,224 million (N3, 320,000,000 billion). Listed as first to sixth respondents in the suit are – Mrs. Alison-Madueke, Donald Chidi Amamgbo and four firms – Chapel Properties Limited, Blue Nile Estate Limited, Azinga Meadows Limited and Vistapoint Property Development Limited. Justice Chuka Obiozor adjourned to enable the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) respond to an objection filed by one of the respondents. The Commission’s lawyer, A. Lawyers: IPOB’s funding can be blocked diplomatically

Lawyers yesterday said the federal government can block the funding of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) through diplomatic means. The government had said IPOB gets its funding from France, which it described as the group’s international headquarters. But France denied having anything to do with the secessionist group. Director-General of West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM), Prof. Akpan Ekpo, urged the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) to track financial flows to IPOB. He said the agency should work closely with all core regulators of financial, other-financial institutions, designated non- financial businesses and professions to ensure that funding for IPOB is blocked. Police dismiss four for extortion

the Police have dismissed four policemen attached to Ijebu-Ode Area Command in Ogun State for extorting N50,000 from their victim. The money was allegedly meant for bail.
