Innoss’B – Chantier


 A well-known musician in the Congolese music scene, Innoss'B has made a big impact on a lot of different music genres, like Afrobeats, Ndombolo, Hip Hop, R&B, Rumba, and Afropop. He was born on May 5, 1997, as Innocent Didace Balume in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is well-known for his diverse skill set as a rapper, singer, dancer, and songwriter. One of the singles from his most recent album, "Calcul," "Chantier," marks his comeback to the music scene.


The English word "Chantier," which means "Construction Site," immediately draws in listeners with its throbbing rhythm and upbeat percussion. A compelling groove introduces the song, setting the stage for an exciting musical adventure ahead.

There is no crisis in Rivers APC – Ikanya

Army rescues six abducted herdsmen

The Nigerian Army said on Saturday that six herdsmen abducted by Boko Haram insurgents at Kamuya community of Yobe State have been rescued. A statement issued by Brig. Gen. Sani Kukasheka said the rescued herdsmen were reunited with their families. Confab on livestock will address farmers/herdsmen clashes – Osinbajo

The Vice President Yemi Osinbajo said on Wednesday the ongoing National Conference on livestock would address persistent clashes between farmers and herdsmen in the country. Osinbajo stated this during the livestock stakeholders’ conference organised by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD), in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and other stakeholders in Abuja. He said the conference was a deliberate plan to converge all key stakeholders in the livestock industry in order to provide a lasting solution to several challenges confronting the industry. Osinbajo said the effort would eventually contribute to national security, adding that the Federal Government has established agro-rangers to protect ranches. National Library to organise readership promotion campaign in FCT‎

Uba debunks PDP defection

Sen. Andy Uba says he has not defected from  the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the outcome of the Anambra governorship primaries. NASS failed to address key issues on budget – Fashola

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, on Monday said the National Assembly’s response to his observation on the 2017 Budget did not address fundamental issues raised on funds allocated to  key ministries. Fashola, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Hakeem Bello, expressed concern over the recourse to name-calling and personal attack by the federal lawmakers, insisting the legislators lack power to insert items in budget prepared by the executive. The minister said he was worried that spokespersons of the Senate and House of Representatives failed to state the reason the National Assembly cut allocations to key infrastructure projects of the ministry. Security man jailed 10 years for manslaughter

A Lagos High Court on Thursday sentenced a 33-year-old security guard, Emmanuel Ajeoge, to 10 years imprisonment for manslaughter. Justice Raliat Adebiyi handed down the sentence after convicting Ajeoge for the death of a young lady, Gloria Okhiran, through accidental discharge of a local gun. Ajeoge was initially arraigned on a one count charge of murder contrary to Sections 319(1) of the Criminal Code laws of Lagos state 2011 but was convicted for manslaughter. Justice Adebiyi said, “The court finds the defendant not guilty of murder charge on the grounds that the evidence before it does not prove beyond reasonable doubt that there was an intention to commit murder. “The defendant is hereby found guilty of manslaughter contrary to Sections 317 of the Criminal laws of Lagos State, 2003.” The judge said the defendant, who knew he had an unlicensed gun, ought to have handled it cautiously in order to avert such dangers.
