Innoss’B – Chantier


 A well-known musician in the Congolese music scene, Innoss'B has made a big impact on a lot of different music genres, like Afrobeats, Ndombolo, Hip Hop, R&B, Rumba, and Afropop. He was born on May 5, 1997, as Innocent Didace Balume in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is well-known for his diverse skill set as a rapper, singer, dancer, and songwriter. One of the singles from his most recent album, "Calcul," "Chantier," marks his comeback to the music scene.


The English word "Chantier," which means "Construction Site," immediately draws in listeners with its throbbing rhythm and upbeat percussion. A compelling groove introduces the song, setting the stage for an exciting musical adventure ahead.

Akeredolu signs 2017 budget

Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu yesterday signed this year’s Appropriation Bill into law. On Monday, the House of Assembly approved a budget of N170 billion. After signing the appropriation bill, the governor said debt service would gulp N8.127 billion, while statutory transfers would take N8.374 billion. The governor said the recurrent expenditure is N95.159 billion and capital expenditure is N59.187 billion. According to him, the state is facing a serious financial challenge due to low Internally Generated Revenue (IGR). He said his administration would adopt new strategies to improve revenue generation. Akeredolu said his administration was aware of the challenges the state was facing on budget implementation because of paucity of funds.   A Scottish research team believe they may have produced the "holy grail" alternative to palm oil. It is estimated that almost half of all food and cosmetic products on supermarket shelves contain palm oil. The huge demand has led to significant deforestation in areas where oil palm trees can grow near the equator. Food experts at Queen Margaret University (QMU) in Edinburgh say their new 100% plant-based ingredient is 70% better for the environment. And with 80% less saturated fat and 30% fewer calories, they are also hailing PALM-ALT as a significantly healthier option. Herbalist caught with human body parts in Kwara

An Ilorin Magistrates’ Court on Thursday remanded in prison custody a herbalist, Busari Abdulwasiu, for unlawful possession of human parts. Magistrate Mohammed Lawal ordered that the accused be remanded at Mondala Prison, Ilorin and adjourned the case until June 19 for a mention. The Prosecutor, Insp. Toying Olasupo told the court that the accused was apprehended on April 23 by residents of Ita-Kudimo area of Ilorin. According to the prosecutor, the police saved the accused from being lynched by an angry mob. He said that on interrogation, the accused could not give a satisfactory account of how he came about the human head and body parts. The prosecutor said that police investigation revealed that Abdulwasiu was a herbalist using the human parts for rituals. The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge of unlawful possession of human part.

Dogara backs OGFZA bill

The speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has thrown his weight behind efforts by the National Assembly (NASS) to amend the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority (OGFZA) Act of 1996. In his opening remarks on Thursday in Abuja to the public hearing on the bill to amend the OGFZA law, organised by the House Committee on Commerce, Dogara said he was convinced deliberations at the public hearing would lead to appropriate review and correction of any ambiguities that may exist in the OGFZA Act. No killing, insecurity in Ondo Community

Concerned stakeholders in Irun, Akoko Northwest local government area of Ondo state Thursday debunked the report of insecurity in the ancient town as reported in the media. They described the claim as unfounded and baseless; stressing that the purported petition written to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris by some indigenes in the community was mischievous. Access Bank withdrew N852m SUBEB fund, witness tells panel

•‘Bank paid N71m refund to Fayose administration’ The controversy on the alleged mismanagement of N852,936,713.92 fund belonging to the Universal Basic Education (UBE) in Ekiti State was laid to rest yesterday at the sitting of the Judicial Commission of Enquiry. The panel is investigating the management of the state’s finances between October 2010 and October 2014 when former Governor Kayode Fayemi was in office. The cash, which was a counterpart fund to finance projects carried out by the state government through the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), was withdrawn by Access Bank, its witness told the panel. The Ayo Fayose administration has consistently accused the Fayemi administration of embezzling the cash, a major reason the panel was raised. But Fayemi and his aides denied misappropriating the fund.
