Innoss’B – Chantier


 A well-known musician in the Congolese music scene, Innoss'B has made a big impact on a lot of different music genres, like Afrobeats, Ndombolo, Hip Hop, R&B, Rumba, and Afropop. He was born on May 5, 1997, as Innocent Didace Balume in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is well-known for his diverse skill set as a rapper, singer, dancer, and songwriter. One of the singles from his most recent album, "Calcul," "Chantier," marks his comeback to the music scene.


The English word "Chantier," which means "Construction Site," immediately draws in listeners with its throbbing rhythm and upbeat percussion. A compelling groove introduces the song, setting the stage for an exciting musical adventure ahead.

Wike raising false alarm against security agencies, says APC

The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused Governor Nyesom Wike of raising false alarm against security agencies. The governor, on Wednesday, claimed the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives were behind kidnapping and robbery in the state. Teachers adamant as Kogi schools re-open

There seems to be no end in sight to the rift between Kogi State government and workers in its tertiary institutions. Teachers at the Kogi State University and Kogi State Polytechnic have rebuffed the directive to return to work. But, non-academic counterparts have since complied. MOHAMMED YABAGI reports. IN  defiance of the government’s directive, sfaff of the Kogi State University (KSU) and Kogi State Polytechnic (KOGI POLY) have refused to return to work since their school resumed on June 5. Business hijackers after my life – 1004 Estates MD

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of 1004 Estates Limited, Mr. Sam Ukpong, has alleged that some home owners and residents in the high rise building are after his life. Ukpong said he has been receiving threat calls and SMS in the past few weeks to give up the estates or lose his life. The 1004 estates chief, who raised the alarm on Tuesday, said the threat was not unconnected with the forceful invasion and takeover of the estate by some residents since December 2015. Efe Ejeba, winner of Big Brother Naija reality show, last Friday released a new single titled  Somebody . This is the second single, following ‘Based on Logistics’ which he released after leaving the Big Brother house. Nigerian Hip-hop twins, Peter and Paul Okoye of the popular stage name Psquare,that dominated the Nigerian music industry for many years, have finally split up. According to a letter sent to their lawyer Festus Keyamo (SAN) by Peter, he demanded for a termination of the agreement as a group. A word for war mongers at TIFF

‘Looters’ behind separatist agitations, says Magu

Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission( EFCC) Mr. Ibrahim Magu yesterday said some looters might be behind the renewed separatist agitations in the country. Al Qaeda frees abducted Swede

Hostage Johan Gustafsson, held by al-Qaeda in Mali since 2011, has been freed, the Swedish government said on Monday. Mr. Gustafsson, 42, is being flown back to Sweden from Africa, Sweden’s Foreign Minister, Margot Wallström, said in a statement. The BBC reports that the Swede was seized by al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) along with two other men, one of whom was freed in a dawn raid in 2015. Ms Wallström said Mr. Gustafsson was “in good spirits.” “It is with great pleasure that I can announce that Johan Gustafsson has been released,” Ms Wallström added.
