Innoss’B – Chantier


 A well-known musician in the Congolese music scene, Innoss'B has made a big impact on a lot of different music genres, like Afrobeats, Ndombolo, Hip Hop, R&B, Rumba, and Afropop. He was born on May 5, 1997, as Innocent Didace Balume in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is well-known for his diverse skill set as a rapper, singer, dancer, and songwriter. One of the singles from his most recent album, "Calcul," "Chantier," marks his comeback to the music scene.


The English word "Chantier," which means "Construction Site," immediately draws in listeners with its throbbing rhythm and upbeat percussion. A compelling groove introduces the song, setting the stage for an exciting musical adventure ahead.

Brazil to lift meat trade restrictions- WTO chief

Brazil is engaged in World Trade Organisation(WTO) committee talks aimed at eliminating any potential barriers to poultry and pork exports. The meeting is in line with an upcoming summit in December, the next opportunity to advance agreements benefiting its farm exports, the head of the WTO said. Brazil has proposed the adoption of scientific criteria related to sanitary standards in the food trade in a WTO committee, Director-General Roberto Azevedo told a conference on Tuesday. Brazil and the European Union have an interest in advancing talks to reduce subsidies distorting trade, although no agreement is in sight yet, he added. The EU, Brazil and three other Latin American countries introduced a WTO proposal in July aimed at reducing farm subsidies. “For it to be possible to reduce subsidies it is necessary that all countries change. Otherwise it is like unilateral disarmament,” Azevedo said. The WTO will hold a ministerial conference in Buenos Aires in early December. ...

Father sexually assaults daughter for seven years in Kano

A Kano Magistrates’ Court on Friday ordered the remand of one Ibrahim Mohammed, 56, in prison custody, accused of having sexual intercourse with his daughter for seven years. Ibrahim, who lives at Hausawa Quarters Kano, is standing trial on a two-count charge of procuring minor and incest. The prosecutor, Insp. Aluta Mijinyawa, told the court that the accused began to sexually assault the girl in 2010 when she was just seven years old. He said Ibrahim had been having sex with the minor since the death of her mother in 2010, adding, “the victim was seven year’s then, now a 14-year-old girl.” Mijinyawa further told the court that the girl, having now grown up “to know what is good and bad,” resisted the father, who threatened to harm her. The prosecutor told the court that the girl reported the father at Metro Police Station in Kano. The prosecutor said that the offences contravened sections 275 and 390 of the penal code. Senate to Buhari: Call Sagay to order

Says “He’s a loose cannon” The Senate yesterday asked President Muhammadu Buhari to rein in the chairman of the Presidential Action Committee on Anti-Corruption (PACAC),  Professor Itse  Sagay. The upper chamber accused the PACAC boss of spreading falsehood and making hate speeches against the National Assembly. Developer assures of Smart City’s adequate sewage control

To-promoters  of the Imperial International Business City (IIBC), the Elegushi Royal Family (ERF), has said the IIBC is designed to align with the Cleaner LagosIntiative (CLI) of Lagos State in line with the new global order. Lassa Fever kills pupil in Jos

One pupil of the Federal Government College, Langtang, Plateau State, has died of Lassa fever. Two others have been hospitalised. Commissioner for Health Kuden Deyin, who confirmed this to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) yesterday, said: “Yes, there was an outbreak of Lassa Fever at the Federal Government College, Langtang; it has claimed one life, while two others are in the hospital.” According to him, four pupils were rushed from the school clinic to the Jos University Teaching Hospital. “The pupils showed symptoms of Lassa Fever and we immediately took their blood samples to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where three tested positive. “One of those who tested positive is dead, while the other two are still on admission at JUTH,” he said. Deyin said the government had met with the school principal and advised her to halt resumption from the mid-term break. FG: Universities to get separate interest generating account

The federal government(FG) has said it was ready to bend backward to create a separate interest generating account for university endowment, research grant and other sources of funding for universities in view of the peculiarities of some of the sources of funding, but was not ready to exclude any sector from the Treasury Single Account system. The government also said that it has ordered a staff audit of workers employed by the universities since January 2016,pointing out that the employment of such staff by university managers without recourse to budgetary provision and permission from relevant agencies was largely responsible for the shortfall in salaries of university workers. These are contained in a letter dated August 30, 2017 and signed by the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu which formed the basis for talks with the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities on Thursday.
