Arsenal Draw Chelsea 0-0 at Stamford Bridge


Arsenal has held Chelsea to a goalless match at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
There were a some rough time among the players few minute to the end of the game.Red Card was given to David Luiz in the 87th minute.  Andreas Christensen replaces Alvaro Morata has.
Some substitutions have been made by both side in the last 15 minutes.
In the 80th minute, Mohamed Elneny was brought in to replace Nigerian  Alex Iwobi.
Olivier Giroud replaced Welbeck who sustained injury
Alexis Sanchez replaced Alexandre Lacazette.  Sanchez was brought in in the 66th minute.
Eden Hazard  was brought in two minutes after to replace Williams
Remember that Tiemoue Bakayoko was brought in Pedro at the start of the second half.
There is however no goal yet Stamford Bridge.
Welbeck and Lacazeth had better chances in the first half but they were unlucky.
Arsenal played very well with so much pressure on Chelsea.
The visitor missed a clear-cut chance of getting the first goal of the match in the fourth minute.
From the mid-field Ramsey decides to creep forward  and hits the inside of the post and bounces out to Lacazette, who promptly volleys over the empty net and high into the stands, almost like he was clearing it for a corner.
Chelsea are obviously still very good at this football business, but they do lack a bit of a spark without Hazard on the pitch.
Victor Moses has been making great impact in the game despite being injured earlier in the match.
in the seventh minute the referee had to stop for the match for Moses to get medical attention.
The Nigerian had a collision with Lacazette, the pair of them went down after clashing knees.
The Premier League match between Chelsea and  Arsenal  started at 1:30 pm

Family accuses police of obstructing justice over Lagos property

…Police: Possession was taken illegally  The family of a former Head of Service in Lagos, the late Mr. C.O. Bajulaiye, has accused the police of denying its members access to their late father’s house in spite of a court judgment authorising them to take possession. The family had approached the Lagos Magistrates Court in a bid to recover the property from a tenant, a company. On May 8, the court ordered the company to give up possession of the property made up of a five-bedroom detached house, a two-bedroom guest chalet, and three-room boys quarters on or before May 10. The company was also ordered to pay a “mesne profit” at the rate of N3million on the property located on 8, Agoro Odiyan Street, off Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island. Senate gives NPA four days for information on 282 missing vessels

The Senate on Thursday, gave the Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Usman, four days to explain the whereabouts of over 282 vessels allegedly missing from the sea ports. Sen. Hope Uzodinma, Chairman, Senate’s Joint Committee on Customs, Excise and Tariff and Marine Transport, gave the ultimatum in Abuja, at an investigative hearing on N30 trillion lost through leakages in Customs and other agencies. Uzodinma, who expressed displeasure with the managing director for not honouring the committee’s two previous invitations, said the information on the vessels was imperative and must be available within four days. He threatened that the senate may be compelled to pursue a financial crime case against Usman should he fail to heed the committee’s directive. “We are looking for these vessels. Pensioners condemn agitations for breakup

THE Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) has asked those agitating for the country’s break up to stop and join hands with the government to promote unity. The union appealed to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo for the payment of the outstanding 18 months of 33  per cent pension arrears following the signing of the budget. In a statement signed by its General Secretary, Elder Actor Zal, the union praised the Federal Government for this month’s prompt payment of pensions to pensioners. Rivers East district has no senator, says Wike

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has said Rivers East has no senator. He spoke yesterday at  a Thanksgiving Service for Senator George Thompson Sekibo, at the St Thomas Anglican Church in Diobu. Sekibo was sacked from the National Assembly by the Court of Appeal last week. He accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of destroying key national institutions. Wike said following APC’s negative governance style, the police and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have metamorphosed into rigging machines threatening the peace of the country. According to him, the Appeal Court judgment, which led to the loss of Rivers East mandate is a fallout of the “unfortunate illegal alliance  between the police and INEC”. Minister: skilled ICT manpower gap widening

The Minister of Communications, Mr Adebayo Shittu, has lamented the widening gap in skilled manpower in the information communication technology (ICT) sector in the country. He said expatriates have virtually taken over the tech space in the country. Shittu, who spoke at the inauguration of an Implementation Committee on the proposed ICT University of Nigeria, in Abuja,  said it has become imperative to have the university to leapfrog the country into a digital economy. The Committee has six weeks to submit its report so that the university can begin academic activities in the next session. FIBA was good exposure for Nigerian players – NBBF

A member of the Nigeria Basketball Federation ( NBBF ), Retd. Col. Sam Ahmedu, on Monday said Nigeria’s participation in the FIBA Africa 3×3 Championship was a good exposure for the players.
