CAC holds God of Mercy Programme in Ekiti

The 2017 edition of the yearly three-day God of Mercy programme of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Mountain of Mercy, Erio Ekiti will hold between today and Friday on Erio Mountain, Erio Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Conveners of the programme, including the newly appointed CAC General Evangelist, Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji and the pastors in charge of CAC Mountain of Mercy, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, Pastors Peter Ilesanmi and Pastor Ola Ojo said it would be yet another fulfilling experience.
According to them, the programme with the theme: “Mercy Once Again” which will feature morning, afternoon and vigil sessions daily would be greeted with salvation of souls, healing the sick, socio-economic breakthroughs, deliverance from spiritual bondage and oppressions, divine mercy, and blessings among others.
The clerics said the programme would afford Nigerians, worshippers and the anointed another platform to seek the face of God for divine intervention.
Anointed gospel singers including Lady Evangelist Bisi Alawiye Aluko, Anointed Glorious Adebayo, Lady Evangelist Yemi Adeola and Lady Evangelist Titilope Aremu Oludare would minister with songs.

Senate gives NPA four days for information on 282 missing vessels

The Senate on Thursday, gave the Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Usman, four days to explain the whereabouts of over 282 vessels allegedly missing from the sea ports. Sen. Hope Uzodinma, Chairman, Senate’s Joint Committee on Customs, Excise and Tariff and Marine Transport, gave the ultimatum in Abuja, at an investigative hearing on N30 trillion lost through leakages in Customs and other agencies. Uzodinma, who expressed displeasure with the managing director for not honouring the committee’s two previous invitations, said the information on the vessels was imperative and must be available within four days. NIMC chief faults identification system

Impact of $3b bond on debt ’ll be modest

T he Federal Government’s plan to issue USD3 billion worth of foreign bonds of up to three years maturity to refinance maturing naira-denominated treasury bills, if approved, will have a modest impact on broad debt sustainability indicators, experts at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC Nigeria) have said. Homes submerged in Lagos, Suleja, Ibadan Ikoyi, Lekki, others thrown into darkness Floods hit many Nigerian cities after long hours of rainfall at the weekend. There were deaths. Homes were  flooded. Eleven people died in Suleja and other towns in Niger State. Many parts of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, were flooded.
