Fans response delight Judith Audu

Stormy Hearts, a movie by Judith Audu-Foght has has been garnering positive response and the actress cum filmmaker is thrilled at its prospects.
Currently on tour in Benin City, Port Harcourt and Warri with co-star of the flick, Etinosa Idemudia, Judith describes the response she has been getting as delightful.
“The acceptance and love from our fans in Port Harcourt, Warri and Benin so far has been overwhelming. We were so happy that they enjoyed and appreciate the movie. It was so awesome that we sold out three shows back to back in Benin and it was such an amazing moment getting feedback and reaction from the audience. We are grateful to everyone that has supported the movie so far,” she stated.
A few weeks back, the movie was premiered before industry bigwigs. Among those who graced the event were Fred Amata, Bisola Aiyeola, Gabriel Afolayan, Salami Rotimi, Adeniyi Johnson, Famous Stylist Swank Jerry, Yaw, Tope Alake, Brutus, O.C Ukeje, Greg Ojefua, Theresa Edem-Isemin, Kunle Remi, Idowu Babalola, Babatunde Ogungbeje and others.

It follows the life of Basi, a music producer, who has a fight with his protégé Kachi, a talented singer, over her partying ways. She abandons him for Johnson, a bigger music producer in town and the breakup hits Basi hard.
Meanwhile, Ella, a prostitute escapes from her abusive pimp to another city to start a new life. Ella and Basi’s paths cross and after much pleading from Ella they develop a relationship that change both their lives forever.

Senate gives NPA four days for information on 282 missing vessels

The Senate on Thursday, gave the Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Usman, four days to explain the whereabouts of over 282 vessels allegedly missing from the sea ports. Sen. Hope Uzodinma, Chairman, Senate’s Joint Committee on Customs, Excise and Tariff and Marine Transport, gave the ultimatum in Abuja, at an investigative hearing on N30 trillion lost through leakages in Customs and other agencies. Uzodinma, who expressed displeasure with the managing director for not honouring the committee’s two previous invitations, said the information on the vessels was imperative and must be available within four days. NIMC chief faults identification system

NATIONAL Identity Management Commission (NIMC)  Director-General, Aliyu Aziz, has faulted the identification system, arguing that it cannot foster economic growth. To him, only the National Identification Number (NIN) has the key to the realisation of the Economic Growth and Recovery Plan (EGRP) of the government. Impact of $3b bond on debt ’ll be modest

T he Federal Government’s plan to issue USD3 billion worth of foreign bonds of up to three years maturity to refinance maturing naira-denominated treasury bills, if approved, will have a modest impact on broad debt sustainability indicators, experts at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC Nigeria) have said. In line with Federal Government’s debt management strategy to rebalance its debt portfolio for domestic and foreign debt, from the current 69 per cent: 3 1 per cent to a targeted 60per cent: 40 per cent, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) recently approved a plan to issue USD3 billion worth of foreign bonds of up to three years maturity to refinance maturing naira-denominated treasury bills. $2.1b arms scandal: Fleeing ex-governor loses choice hotel in Singapore to mistress
